Dr. Anna Lopez, Co-PI for Project TEACH Grant

Congratulations to Dr. Lopez in receiving the Project TEACH Grant. The goal of Project TEACH (Training and Education Across Clinics and Hospitals) is to increase the number of Master Social Work and Clinical Mental Health Counseling trainees in behavioral health and primary care settings that provide culturally sensitive, integrative primary care services in a medically under-served community in the southwestern United States. This training will include a total of 29 MSW and CMHC trainees per year. The funding amount is $480,000 each year for 4 years for a total of 1.9 million dollars. The grant contributes to CEP endeavors by providing financial support to MA Counseling students while they work in the community as interns.
