Co-Principal Investigator: Graduate Assistance for Areas of National Need. U.S. Department of Education, Office of Post-Secondary Education.
Fellowship program for NMSU Counseling Psychology PhD students and School Psychology EdS students who are underrepresented minorities, interested in becoming faculty and clinical supervisors. ($442,917 for 3 years). Funded September 2015-2018.

Principal Investigator: Primary Care Behavioral Health Training. Health Resource and Services Administration, Scholarships for Disadvantaged Students Program.
Scholarships for NMSU Counseling Psychology doctoral students who are underrepresented minorities, committed to working in primary care settings in medically underserved communities. ($900,657 for 4 years). Funded September 2012-2016.

Lead Investigator: Behavioral Health Psychology Training on the US-Mexico Border. Health Resource and Services Administration, Graduate Psychology Education Program. Interdisciplinary collaborative training grant to enhance the training experience of doctoral students in Counseling Psychology by having them work in primary care and behavioral health settings. ($380,000 for 2 years). Funded. July, 2014-July 2016.

Principal Investigator: Bilingual Counseling Specialization. American Psychological Association’s Board of Educational Affairs Grant. CEMRRAT Program. Enhancing the existing capacity for bilingual training at NMSU. ($3000). Funded August 2011-August 2012.
